Spotlight – Premier RV Resorts

by Wendy on November 12, 2012

Premier RV Resorts is a Northwest-based company with five parks in Oregon, Washington and California. It was founded in 2000 when an old, run-down KOA park in Redding, CA was purchased and converted to a luxury RV resort with perfect 10/10/10 ratings by Trailer Life Directory. Over the next ten years, four additional parks were added in Eugene, Salem, and Lincoln City, Oregon and in Clarkston, WA on the Snake River across from Lewiston, ID.

All Premier RV Resorts are rated in the top 100 parks in the US. All sites are large with concrete pads, beautiful landscaping, picnic tables, cable TV, free wi-fi and a newspaper delivered to your door every morning except Sundays.

At Premier RV Resorts, hospitality is its signature product. All parks offer “concierge” service to make reservations for dining, excursions or golf. If you’d like to take a day trip, they can recommend the route and things to see along the way. There are many planned activities from Happy Hour around the campfire to coffee and donuts on Sunday morning. Fireplace rooms in which to join with friends for a game of cards or to watch a big game, make the resorts attractive for families and groups of all sizes.

Premier RV Resort at Lincoln City is a great home base from which to explore the Oregon Coast. Centrally located between Pacific City and Newport, Lincoln City offers so many sights and activities that it would be difficult to take them all in with one visit. From beach combing to kite festivals, from concerts to car shows, Lincoln City has it all.

At the top of many peoples’ list are lighthouses. Yaquina Head, Coquille River, Tillamook Rock and Cape Mears are just some lighthouses within easy driving distance of Premier RV Resort at Lincoln City.

Would you like to go deep-sea fishing or net some crabs or go clamming? Depending on the season of your visit, of course, all of these adventures are nearby and staff will help you get reservations or direct you to the right spot for the best experience. Want some fresh and delicious seafood? There are many excellent restaurants, some within walking distance.

The clubhouse has a gift store, a library with fireplace and two rally rooms. There is a pool table and a large indoor spa that feels wonderful at the close of the day. Or if you prefer, you can gather around the gas fire pit with a glass of your favorite beverage and watch the sun go down over the ocean.

Oregon is also home to two other Premier RV Resorts. Both are located along the I-5 corridor in Eugene and in Salem, the heart of the Willamette Valley. Eugene is surrounded by some of the best wine country in the Northwest and, of course, provides an ideal home base from which to attend the many athletic activities at the University of Oregon. Just 20 miles down the road are a number of historic covered bridges. The Willamette, McKenzie and the North Umpqua Rivers are nearby and provide a large number of outdoor experiences.

Premier RV Resort of Salem is five miles from downtown in a quiet and rural location. The Salem resort provides many unique amenities including an in-house theatre, in which free movies are shown nightly, a large banquet room that seats 100, an onsite caterer, a pickle ball court, a golf driving net, a walking trail that surrounds the resort and a barbeque pavilion available for groups and families. Both Eugene and Salem resorts have swimming pools and outdoor spas and have two large fenced pet areas.

If you simply like to relax, all five resorts have lending libraries and expansive collections of DVD’s that are free to guests to watch in the comfort of their RV.
