A location decision for this event will be made within the next few weeks!

With the Coast, Cascades, Valley and High Desert all within a few hours drive, Oregon offers such a diverse geographical region in which to rally and so many things to do…Camping in Three Creeks Wilderness area beneath McArthur Rim just outside Sisters, Covered Bridges driving tours (there are 50 in the state!) and the beautiful Pacific Coast are a few of my favorite must-do activities in Oregon…Rallyers will also find some of the finest motorcoach support services in the Lane County region as can be found anywhere in the Nation. The industry has truly been reinventing itself over the last couple years, and many of the best of the best businesses and service professionals are still hard at work in the Willamette Valley.
I would personally be happy to lend support in any role that would be helpful, should the rally come to Oregon….for certain I’d get pertinent information out to the 5500 email subscribers to the Friends to Friends enewsletter and encourage a Country Coach Friends Inc Club “pre-rally” to the event in 2014.There are many active Chapters in the Northwest I’m sure who would be equally excited to see FMCA return to Redmond. Again, thanks for your prompt response and I look forward to your announcement regarding the Summer Convention.

Thanks for considering Redmond to host the 2014 Motorhome Showcase . As a Eugene resident and small business owner, I enjoy making the drive through the beautiful Cascade range to visit the Bend/Redmond area for outdoor activities and relaxation. It is a favorite spot to ski in the winter and camp and hike in the summer. I particularly enjoy driving out to the Pine Mountain Observatory to star gaze and view distant star systems through the giant telescopes with my kids.
The weather on the east side of the Cascades is always clear and crisp; an ideal place to RV! Many of my RV customers make it a point to spend time in and around Redmond when they travel through Oregon, mostly to golf and fish. Hope to see you here in 2014!
