RV Club Spotlight – Country Coach Friends Incorporated
Country Coach Friends Incorporated (CCFI), an international chapter of Family Motor Coach Association, welcomes owners of all brands of motorhomes to join the club and join the fun! CCFI was founded in June 2011 just minutes from where all Country Coach motorcoaches were built in Junction City, Oregon! Club membership is open to Country Coach owners as full members and other brand motorhome owners as associate members.
Brothers Bob and Ron Lee and their wives are founding members. Bob founded the original Country Camper in 1973 and is something of an industry icon, having been inducted into the RV/MH Hall of Fame. Ron is owner of Country Coach Corporation, a service, parts and consignment sales business located on several acres of the original Country Coach, Inc campus.
Visiting Oregon to spend leisure time and discretionary monies in the Pacific Northwest is a long-held tradition with many RVers nationwide. Take CCFI members James and Angela Fazio, for example. The Fazios call Florida “home” but are among the RV travelers who visit Lane County, Oregon each year.
They stay for a couple months, touring on their motorcycles, visiting the coast, their favorite restaurants and shops, and visiting good friends in the Junction City and Eugene area, and of course, getting service work done on their motorcoach.
Minnesota residents George and Josie Shallbetter serve on the CCFI Board of Directors. George and Josie have been coming to Oregon annually for a quarter century to rally with Country Coach friends and to have coach service work and renovations done in the Eugene/Junction City area.
Arizona residents Shirley and James O’Brien are retired college professors who also make an annual trek to the Willamette Valley. When Shirley and Jim began considering what to do in retirement, they both had a passion for ethnic music and would like to tour. So they spend six months each year driving the western United States in a Country Coach Allure stopping at festivals, singing and playing accordion.
They always include the Lane County, Oregon in their travel itinerary! Summering on the Oregon Coast, performing at the Junction City, Oregon Scandinavian Festival, and at other Oregon festivals as well, like at Sandy’s St. Michael’s Oktoberfest or the Knights of Columbus Oktoberfest in Sisters.
For motorcoach groups such as CCFI, Oregon is the perfect place to meet in a group setting at an RV rally. Country Coach Friends Inc. holds motorcoach rallies coast to coast, but always holds one rally each year in
Oregon. In 2012 the 2nd Annual Country Coach Friendship Rally will be held on July 24- 28 at River Bend Resort in Harrisburg, Oregon.
Special business friends like Country Coach Corporation, Oregon Motorcoach Center, Premier RV Services, Advanced Satellite, Fly By Might, Bob Dickman Tire Center, Carr Industries, DLH Design, Hitch Pro and Tow, Silverleaf Electronics, and more, send their experts to present rally seminars, and provide onsite service support for attendees who wish to get some items taken care of during the rally.
At last year’s Friendship Rally, Travel Lane County’s Van on the Go was on site providing area information of businesses and attractions not to miss while in town, and ORVA’s Brad Waring led an offsite wineries tour during the Friendship Rally.
CCFI events are typically four days in length, held at locations which offer electrical, sewer, and fresh water hookups and amenities like Wi-Fi, a fitness center, swimming pool and more. (Rallies may also be held in limited-amenity locations, in some instances.)
Lane County is an RVers’ haven when it comes time to seek coach service maintenance or renovations. As ORVA continues to spread the word of the benefits of spending leisure time and monies in Oregon, more and more RVers are coming to the state for RV repairs and services, making use of the vast well of knowledge and talent to be found here.
While their RV is in service, they’re touring the area, seeing the sights, shopping and dining and enjoying the hospitality of the people and businesses of the Pacific Northwest.
Nowhere else in America is there such a concentration of industry leading businesses and RV service specialists. From tires and batteries at Bob Dickman Tire Center, Coach Glass or chassis service, paint and fiberglass work, or electrical service work completed by one of many qualified service providers. Oregon Motorcoach Center, Premier RV Services, Country Coach Corporation, Carrier RV Service, and many more are among the best of the best in the industry and they are all found in Lane County, Oregon!
When it’s time to upgrade to another RV or consign your motorhome for sale, you will not find more reputable, professional dealers than the RV dealers in the Junction City and Eugene area. For instance, Premier RV Services in Junction City is a perfect business to visit if it is a well-maintained pre-owned Country Coach motorcoach you are seeking. Their marketing materials note they offer the largest inventory of pre-owned Country Coaches in the U.S. along with a selection of other brand pre-owned coaches.
Country Coach Corporation is another consignment sales dealer in Junction City offering a full inventory of pre-owned Country Coach and other brand motorcoaches for sale. They are also both special business partners of the CCFI club offering special pricing to CCFI members.
CCFI Invites You to Join the Club! Founded on friendship, CCFI is a great organization to be involved with if you love to explore new places in your RV, gathering at rallies with fellow travelers equally passionate about the joys of the open road and the motorcoach lifestyle. Member Benefits are extensive including a comprehensive list of parts and service centers recommended by fellow RVers nationwide and many businesses offering special pricing to club members.
