Wagers Trailer Sales in Salem is a family owned and operated RV business founded in January of 1969 by Ralph and Dorothy Wagers that now, nearly five decades later, continues to be family owned and operated at the same location.
Four Drive-Through Full-Service Bays
In the beginning they sold Terry and Aladdin travel trailers as well as a line of manufactured homes from Skyline. A couple of years later, the large homes were replaced with high-end travel trailers from Holiday Rambler, a relationship that lasted nearly 38 years. During the time with Holiday Rambler, the dealership carried everything from their smallest towable models to large diesel pusher motorhomes.
Many different product brands have come and gone over all the years. The Holiday Rambler and Carriage brands were the company mainstays for the longest time, and with those two manufacturers Wagers has earned many top dealer and service awards.
Brothers Steve and Dave Wagers and Steve’s wife, Susie, are now the principals of the company. Steve came to work for his aunt and uncle in that first year while still attending school.
Now specializing in towable RVs, from top quality 5th-wheels to lightweight and economical travel trailers, there’s one thing about the company that has remained their principal focus – to provide their customers with the best possible service and overall satisfaction anywhere, from any size of dealership.
Comprehensive Auto Parts Store
With many long-time employees in sales, service and the parts store, key people have been a big part of their success. The RV dealership now carries products from Forest River; Cedar Creek and Flagstaff fifth wheels; Salem and Cruise Lite travel trailers; and Shockwave toy haulers. Wagers Trailer Sales is located just one mile east of the State Fairgrounds on Silverton Road, with a 2.5-acre sales lot, a shop with four pull-through service bays, and a comprehensive parts and accessories store. They have friendly and knowledgeable salespeople to serve you in a low-pressure environment.
